Toddler Bed Safety:
Guard Rails/Low To Ground: Ensure the toddler bed has guard rails to prevent your child from falling, or select a toddler bed that is low enough to the ground that they won’t get hurt if they roll off. (Floor Beds)
Sturdiness: Select a good quality bed that is built with sturdy materials and construction. Cheaper isn’t necessarily better when it comes to selecting a toddler bed.
Mattress Fit: Use the correct size mattress for the bedframe. if the mattress is too small for the bedframe it will leave a gap, which your toddler could become wedged in.
Positioning: Position your toddler’s bed in a safe place in their room. Don’t position it to where there is a gap between the bed and the wall that your child could get stuck in.
Non-Toxic Material: Look for toddler beds that use non-toxic materials, paint, etc.
